Capirete Vinagre de Jerez is a sherry vinegar produced in the Jerez region of Spain using traditional ageing methods associated with sherry production. The vinegar is created using the Criaderas and Solera system, a process commonly used for ageing sherry wines, which contributes to its characteristic flavour and colour.

The vinegar has a deep amber tone with mahogany highlights, reflecting its maturation in wooden barrels. During the ageing process, the vinegar develops aromatic notes that may include hints reminiscent of dried fruits along with the distinctive sharpness typical of sherry vinegar.

Made primarily from sherry vinegar with the addition of caramel colouring and antioxidant (sulphur dioxide), the product follows the standards associated with Denomination of Origin Vinagre de Jerez. The vinegar has an acidity level of 7%, which is typical for this style of vinegar.

Presented in a 375ml glass bottle, this sherry vinegar can be used in a variety of culinary applications including salad dressings, cold sauces, marinades, meat and fish dishes, and traditional recipes such as gazpacho.
